TRT

Purpose of this evaluation
This evaluation reviews the reported symptoms, health history, and laboratory findings to identify hormonal and metabolic patterns that may warrant further medical investigation. It is designed to accomplish two objectives:
1. Give you a clear understanding of what the laboratory results may mean, and whether proceeding with a medical consultation would be appropriate.
2. Provide the treating physician with an organized clinical overview to support the consultation, the diagnostic process, and the discussion of possible treatment options.
Patient overview
Reported symptoms, sleep and training patterns, current medications, fertility priorities, and relevant family history — recorded in your own words.

Executive clinical summary — excerpt
“Your hormonal and metabolic health cannot be treated as separate. Poor sleep, increased visceral fat and insulin resistance can suppress normal testosterone production, while low testosterone makes maintaining muscle and improving body composition harder. Low-normal LH and FSH alongside low testosterone point to a functional pattern worth investigating rather than assumed testicular failure.”

Questions about men’s hormone health
Is hormone health assessment the same as starting TRT?
No. Assessment helps you understand your symptoms and possible contributing factors. TRT is one potential treatment, subject to confirmed testosterone deficiency and your physician’s assessment. Starting an evaluation does not commit you to medication.
Can you help if my testosterone is within the laboratory range?
Yes. You can seek assessment for persistent symptoms even when one result is within range. That does not automatically make TRT appropriate. Your physician considers the findings in context and whether other explanations or further investigation deserve attention. Endocrine Society clinical guidance
Which blood tests will I need?
The appropriate tests depend on your symptoms, history, and existing results. If testosterone deficiency is suspected, repeat morning testing and additional markers may be needed. We help coordinate the recommended testing and explain preparation instructions. Endocrine Society clinical guidance
Can I use bloodwork I already have?
Yes. Send the complete report with its collection date, units, and laboratory reference ranges. Your results are reviewed first, and we explain whether additional or updated testing is needed.
Do I need to buy a membership to receive the free evaluation?
No. The written evaluation is free, with no obligation to begin treatment or join a membership. Laboratory tests and physician consultations are separate paid services. Contact our WhatsApp team for current pricing.
What if I want to have children?
Tell us during your assessment and discuss it with your physician before treatment decisions are made. Testosterone therapy can suppress sperm production, so fertility goals can change the recommended approach. Endocrine Society patient information
Can I access care outside Medellín?
Yes. TRT Optima supports clients across Colombia through virtual consultations and WhatsApp. Tell us your location so we can explain laboratory options and other arrangements relevant to your care.
What if I am already using testosterone or another hormone treatment?
Include the medication, dose, schedule, prescription if available, and recent bloodwork in your assessment. You can also contact the team directly to prepare for a physician review of your existing treatment. Explore support for people already on TRT →
